Q1: How should I start and end the film if my camera doesn't have a film counter?
A: Simply load the film into your 110 camera and advance it until it stops; you're then ready to shoot your first photo. Once the roll is fully exposed, the camera will prevent you from winding any further, letting you know it’s time to unload.
Q2: Do you have any 110 camera recommendations?
A: We highly recommend the Canon 110ED, Pentax Auto 110, Minolta 110 Zoom, and Rollei E110. It's best to avoid cheap, toy-like models—such as those that look like disposable cameras (no battery required, fixed focus, fixed aperture, fixed shutter speed) or come attached to keychains.
Q3: Is Reflx Lab 110 film perforated?
A: Yes, all of our 110 films are perforated just like standard 110 film. Since some of our batches are respooled from 16mm motion picture film, they feature 16mm perforations on one side and standard 110 perforations on the other.
Q4: Any other tips before I start shooting?
A: Always check the battery first! The shutters on many 110 cameras are electronically controlled. We also recommend test-firing the shutter (make sure the shutter can wide open) and checking the film advance mechanism before loading your film.
