We’ve long been stocking Lucky black-and-white film in 100ft bulk rolls, and now we’re thrilled to expand our lineup with two highly anticipated new options: DOUBLE X and PRO100.
Double X (also known as “5222”) is a legendary black-and-white motion picture negative film, celebrated for its distinct cinematic aesthetic, exceptional sharpness, and expansive tonal range. It has earned its status as a classic by gracing the frames of iconic films such as Schindler’s List and Raging Bull.
PRO100 film (also called Aerocolor IV 2460) is a medium-speed, fine-grained color negative film with a unique backstory—it was originally engineered for high-altitude aerial reconnaissance and mapping missions. We’ve already mastered converting this versatile film into a wide range of formats, including 135, 120, 127, 220, 4×5, 5×7, and 8×10. Now, it’s finally available in convenient 100ft (30.5-meter) bulk rolls, too.
Each 100ft bulk roll yields approximately 19 rolls of 36-exposure 135 film. This is the ideal quantity for film lovers—it’s enough to fuel plenty of shooting sessions without the worry of the film expiring before you get to use it all.
