The numbering of the paper backing for the color film was confusing on the first roll I took with my Exakta VP, which led to my attempt to find out if it was feeding correctly, and eventually I had to abort the roll to figure out what happened. Apparently the first shot was number 12, and then subsequent exposures counted down to 1, which I wasn’t expecting
